Since British Hills is a recreation of a post-mediaeval British property, there are some limitations in service and usability when compared to a modern hotel. We invite you to embrace this cultural experience and enjoy the authentic period atmosphere.

Please be aware of the following restrictions:

• Our buildings are not barrier free and may present problems for those using a wheelchair.
• No pets are permitted in British Hills.
• No room service is available.
• No smoking (Except in designated smoking areas.)
• Cigarettes can be purchased from the vending machine in the Falstaff Pub.
  Please bring a taspo card for age verification.
• We respectfully ask that all customers observe a semi-formal dress code when eating dinner in the main dining room. For gentlemen, this would include a sports coat or suit jacket (we have additional jackets available, if required.) The following casual clothing is considered inappropriate: jeans, t-shirts (permitted if you are wearing a jacket), parkas, Capri pants, shorts, trainers, open toed sandals for men, or anything too revealing.
